General Requirements and Coverage
If a Hydraulic America product covered by this warranty fails due to a verified manufacturing defect, we will, at our sole discretion, provide free parts or a replacement unit depending on the severity of the failure. This policy covers only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials. This warranty does not cover: Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, overloading, tampering, or unauthorized modification. Damage from normal wear and tear, lack of reasonable maintenance, failure to follow operating instructions, or improper storage. Electric devices installed on remanufactured components (e.g., pressure sensors, position sensors, solenoids). Equipment that has been opened, altered, or repaired by anyone other than Hydraulic America without our express written approval. Damage caused by hydraulic fluid contamination, excessive return pressure, or failure to inspect and resolve machine issues prior to installation. Horsepower-related changes or any on-site adjustment costs. Labor costs: At no point shall Hydraulic America be responsible for labor costs, service fees, or any other costs incurred by the buyer or third-party providers. All clients are encouraged to install and repair Hydraulic America products themselves. If assistance is needed, clients may contact us for instructions. Damage not covered by warranty may be repaired for a reasonable fee, with return shipping charges applied.
Returns for Mistaken Orders
If an order has been placed by mistake, it is the client's responsibility to contact Hydraulic America as soon as possible. If the shipment has not yet been made: A full refund, minus a processing fee, will be issued immediately. If the shipment has already taken place: A full refund, minus the processing fee and all applicable shipping charges (both to and from the buyer's location), will be issued upon return of the product in unused, original condition.
Returns for Warranty Claims
If an item must be returned for warranty evaluation, please notify us by phone or email within 30 days of receipt to obtain a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#). All items must be returned unblemished, with all factory plugs in place and in original packaging. Hydraulic America is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during return shipping.
Limited Warranty - Final Drive Motors and Pumps
Hydraulic America warrants that new final drive motors and main pumps sold by it will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty period (two years or one year, as specified on the item listing) from the date of delivery to the Buyer. This Limited Warranty applies only when products are installed and used in accordance with Hydraulic America's printed instructions, the original manufacturer's specifications, and all applicable regulations. Due to the complexity of hydraulic systems, we encourage that repair and replacement be performed by qualified mechanics, or alternatively, by the client themselves with guidance from Hydraulic America. This warranty is void if the unit has been: Disassembled or repaired by anyone other than Hydraulic America. Subject to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper connection, overloading, or tampering. Physically damaged (e.g., cracked housings, stripped threads). Installed without resolving hydraulic fluid contamination or excessive return pressure issues. Operated or maintained contrary to manufacturer specifications. Damaged during shipping (must file claim with freight carrier).
Warranty Claim Process (Within 1 Month to 2 Years)
If a failure occurs within the warranty period, contact Hydraulic America immediately to receive an RGA#. The original unit must be shipped to our facility for inspection. If the warranty is validated (proven to be a manufacturing defect), Hydraulic America will, at its sole discretion, provide free parts or a replacement unit. Surface shipping costs to and from the Buyer's location will be covered by Hydraulic America. If the warranty is voided, the Buyer may choose to have the unit returned as-is (unrepaired) or receive a credit of 25% of the original net purchase price (estimated salvage value). For more information, check out the Shipping and Return Policy page.
Lifetime Replacement Discount Program (Effective for purchases on or after May 1, 2021)
Buyers are eligible for a one-time credit of 5% of the original net purchase price (after discounts, before tax and shipping) toward the purchase of a new final drive motor of the same type and model, subject to all other conditions of the Limited Warranty being met.

Hydraulic America does not warrant that the site or its functions will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
Hydraulic America shall not be liable for any special, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The Buyer's exclusive remedy shall be limited to recovery of damages not exceeding the net purchase price of the defective merchandise, less its salvage value (estimated at 25% of the net purchase price). In no event shall Hydraulic America be liable for labor costs, service fees, or any other expenses incurred by the Buyer or third parties. Hydraulic America neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume any other liability in connection with the sale or use of its merchandise.

All applicable taxes (provincial, local, federal) are the obligation of the Buyer. If Hydraulic America is required to collect or pay such taxes, the amount shall be added to the invoice. Buyer agrees to reimburse Hydraulic America or provide a valid exemption certificate.
Warranty Methodology
Warranty claims must be submitted via the Warranty Form within 10 days of product failure. Claims must include the model/serial number, installation date, hours in service, and a full description of the issue. Products must be returned immediately upon request to our Warranty Department.
